BHE Holds Annual User Conference for its Instant Health Data (IHD) Platform

BHE hosted its annual Instant Health Data (IHD) User Conference on March 20, 2019 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. This day-long event brought together IHD users and analytics team leads from 20 top-ranked pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and research organizations.
Presenters offered in-depth experiences on the adoption of the IHD platform in their organizations. Speakers included Joanna Van Houten, PhD, Manager of Global Health Economics and Reimbursement at Edwards Lifesciences, and Janice Chung, Senior Researcher, Health Economics and Outcomes Research at HealthCore.
Research conducted using the IHD platform also was presented by IHD analysts from Janssen, Pfizer, Abbvie, Eli Lilly, and Boston Scientific. These sessions gave attendees an opportunity to learn from one another and strengthen their understanding of the wide range of study designs and techniques that are being used to generate RWE across the large IHD community.

The BHE team also hosted roundtable discussions and interactive poster sessions to share best practices and in-depth technical knowledge with the IHD user community. BHE’s goal is to ensure all customers receive support at every turn so that they can consistently and quickly generate high-quality research results.
The conference concluded with a dive into new product features and the future of IHD. BHE provided attendees with a first look at IHD product expansion into the area of data science.
